Assassins 88 – Tru Love Music Video

In November 2023 Assassins 88 reunited for the first time in 10 years to play Sideway in Canberra. Joined by sometimes member and confidant Bobby Kill (TV Colours), Tim Guthrie and Lachlan Thomas decided to record an old live favourite they had started playing since the band’s inception in 2009.

The song was recorded and mixed by Jonathan Corcoran and mastered by David Forcier. The music video edited by Lachlan Thomas.

Message from Assassins: “Thanks to everyone that came to a show, bought a record or tape, took home the tshirt, kicked out our effects pedals, played with us and let us sleep on their floor, let us borrow their amp, borrowed our amp, pulled our electricity, took photos, shot video, shared a big salad, messaged on MySpace, wrote a blog post, held the kick drum in place and flicked the living room light switch on and off. Big thanks to Dream Damage Records and XVII Records (France) for everything and all the amazing people from Aus, NZ and EU we have had the pleasure to meet.
